Design Build Construction Management

K2 and Insight Architects were tasked with designing and building a masterpiece that would create an old world “French Chateau” feel, by taking advantage of the natural resources available at the project location, provide state of the art functionality, maximize energy efficiency, and to use local craftsman to provide the finest finishes around. In order to create a destination location for weddings and festivals, a highly developed commercial kitchen was required for a world class restaurant and catering but don't forget the exquisite interior and exterior finishes for the meeting areas, restrooms, ballrooms and grand halls. The grounds would be developed into exquisite gardens to not only provide a one of a kind outdoor venue for many types of gatherings, but also provide organic produce for the restaurant to serve in their cuisine. A project of this scope and magnitude was a tall order to complete when the initial design concept was brought to the table in August of 2014 and their desire was to be open for business in June of 2015. The best team of engineers and trade contractors were assembled to tackle the challenge of meeting all the project requirements and the challenge of finishing construction in time for the first event.
