Trusted, Local, Expert Knowledge from a construction
company that has earned a reputation that transcends generations.
Founded in June of 1980, K2 Construction, Inc. was started by Mark and Donna Kreizenbeck.
Founder, Mark Kreizenbeck earned his Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Idaho, and took a job with Bechtel Engineering, where he travelled the United States working on various power plants, in Virginia, Connecticut, Arizona, and California. During that time, he earned his MBA from University of Connecticut, got married, and eventually moved back home to Idaho, where he grew up.
Founder and wife of Mark, Donna Kreizenbeck managed the administrative side of the company as the Secretary/Treasurer of the company.
The Kreizenbeck’s daughter, Melanie, worked at K2 throughout high school and after completing her MBA at Western Washington University, moved to work with her parents in 2003. She learned the ropes from her dad and other project managers, and was promoted to Vice President in 2012. In addition to managing a wide range of commercial construction projects, she managed the company safety program, and was trained in Butler Building systems.
